Talk:Main Page

[edit] Top Bar

Well at the moment it looks a bit off, i think we should just make a link page to the proskater series, underground series then other. Think it will look neater then, obviously we could keep all the links lower down as they are currently also. -- FFXmaddean 19:56 (GMT) 27th January 2009

I just threw this banner together, just to give the Main Page a little bit more spice. Any suggestions on improvements or such?--lord monkey 22:19, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Cheats

Does anybody know why the only cheats are shop codes and Action Replay? Also, if you ever beat the game (or take the easy track on A.R.) the cheats are held in options where you can turn them on or off. P.S. San Franscisco looks really cool with night mode on. : )

[edit] Gap lists for each level

I think the page for each level should have a gap list, not a huge gap list for an entire game. This would allow for specific information for each gap without making the page monstrously long. Also, WHERE IS EVERYONE? AM I THE ONLY PERSON MAINTAINING THIS WIKI!?!?! LOL -- juji 05:44, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Console specifics

When talking about things like how to perform a trick, try to generalize, and not be console specific. So for example, to do a Boneless, don't say "Up + Up + X" or "Up + Up + A", be general and say "Up + Up + Ollie". Or when doing a kickflip, say "Left + Flip" instead of "Left + Square". This wiki is designed for people with any console, not just PS2 or Xbox or whatever. So please try to be general, unless of course you have to be console specific for whatever reason. -- juji 08:29, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Page creation

When creating a new page, make sure the link contains its parent game. For example the Canada page belongs to the game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, so in the actual link would look like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3:Canada. When creating a page, add its parent GAME in the link, like this:

[[Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3:Canada]]
using the Canada page as an exmaple.

If the new page doesn't relate to a game, put it under a General heading like this:

[[General:PAGE NAME]]

This will ensure you're looking at the correct article for the correct game, i.e. All of the games include Tony Hawk as a character, so we need to create a separate Tony Hawk page for each game. Hope you understand this, if not, just ask questions on this talk page. -- juji 08:42, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
